Hsin-Tian Liao is currently the Director of the National Museum of History and a Professor at the Graduate School of Art Management and Cultural Policy, National Taiwan University of Arts. He has won several awards including the Taiwan Culture Award, Lin Yushan Academic Paper Award, and Taipei Art Museum’s Essay Biennial Award. He focuses on researching fields such as Taiwanese fine arts and cultural identity, post-colonial visual culture, and art and cultural sociology.
